My work can be described as "eclectic quasi-realism." I often paint traditionally from life, both indoors and out. Then I might swerve into the abstract with my paintings about the cosmos or tongue in cheek with depictions of animals or people. I work in most media but favor the depth and complexity I can only seem to get with oil paints. From the micro to the vast, I am continually challenging myself to capture the play of light.
